The No. 3 Towson Catholic boys basketball team remained undefeated, beating Eleanor Roosevelt, 53-42, last night in the Riverdale Baptist Holiday Tournament behind the third double double in a row from senior Kyle Cannon, who had 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Raymond Brewer paced Eleanor Roosevelt with 16 points.

The Owls (11-0) will take on the host team, undefeated Riverdale Baptist, today.

Fallston 64, Franklin 45: Phil Vornadore, a second-team All-Metro center last season, led the Cougars (5-1) with 29 points, 16 rebounds, two blocked shots and two steals.

Jesus Acosta paced the Indians with 28 points.

Girls

Liberty 40, Rockville 29: Lauren Locklear hit a three-pointer at the end of the third quarter to put the host Lions (4-3) up by a point in their win.

Mount de Sales 48, Centennial 42: Sally Grace went 4-for-4 on three-pointers and scored 25 points for the Sailors (4-4) as they beat the Eagles in the Liberty Holiday Invitational.
