Realtors group plans breakfast with legislators

The Howard County Association of Realtors will hold a legislative breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Jan. 5 in Linden Hall at the Dorsey's Search Village Center, Columbia.

Howard County Executive James N. Robey and public officials and representatives at all levels of state and federal government have been invited to attend.

The discussion will focus on real estate-related issues in the county. The meeting is open to the public. Bagels and fruit will be served.

Business-leads group meets weekly in Columbia

LeTip of Howard County, an 11-year-old business-leads group, will hold its weekly meetings at Panera Bread in Dobbin Center, 6345 Dobbin Road, Columbia.

The group meets for networking, mutual support and referrals from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Wednesdays. Members find warm leads, averaging about one lead per member each week.

Breakfast includes bagels, pastries, juice and coffee, and guests are welcome to attend free.
