A 30-year-old man was fatally shot Thursday night outside an apartment building in Cheverly, Prince George's County police said.

Mosi Butler was found in the 3500 block of 55th Ave. about 8:45 p.m., suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said. Butler, who lives on that block, was taken to Prince George's Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Investigators have no suspects and have not determined a motive for the shooting, police said.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Prince George's Police Department's homicide unit at 301-772-4925. Callers who want to remain anonymous can call Crime Solvers at 866-411-TIPS.

A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for tips leading to the arrest and indictment of a suspect in the case.
