Business accepting donated packing `peanuts'

Annapolis Post Box on Church Circle in historic Annapolis is one of several local businesses collecting plastic packaging loose fill or "peanuts." Annapolis Post Box will accept them from local residents and reuse them in their outgoing packages.

The Peanut Hotline, founded in July of 1991, is the Plastic Loose Fill Council's nationwide program for reusing packing peanuts. Most of the calls come from people who received information about the program with mail-order purchases.

Annapolis Post Box is at 3 Church Circle, across from the post office. For information, call 800-828-2214.
