Time is running out, and you still haven't found the perfect gift for your brother / boyfriend / husband / father / male in-law who means so very much to you. The baseball hat thing is over. So is the T-shirt-palooza of years past. We're all grown-ups now, and we expect your gifts to reflect that.

Imagine our pleasure when we wandered into J.S. Edwards Ltd. in the Festival at Woodholme and discovered a handful of cool gifts for the favorite men in our life.

For starters, there are Etro striped shirts, brilliantly colored and cut shirts of Italian cotton so fine they feel like silk. And the shades -- luscious hues of kiwi, chocolate, cranberry, purple and more, all striped together in the same piece of fabric to create a garment that looks fresh and colorful ($225).

The more understated guy might appreciate a pair of Burberry boxer shorts ($45). Yes, it's true -- that distinctive camel and black check has been crafted into comfy underwear and also lines the inside of the softest of cotton T-shirts ($28-$45).

For the accessories maven, Chelsey chenille and knit lambswool scarves imported from Germany are an option. The colors are rich, the patterns range from subdued stripes to bold color blocks, and the fabric is soft and warm($75-$110).

The practical guy in your life would probably love it if you treated him to a new shaving system courtesy of the Art of Shaving. From its pre-shave oil ($22) and shaving cream ($20) containing all essential oils, to its badger bristle shaving brushes ($50 and up) and handcrafted razors ($130 and up), the company makes top-of-the-line products that can make a guy feel like a million bucks.

Tween scents

Can't get enough of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen? Yeah, we didn't think so. Tween daughter can't get enough of the illustrious multimillionaire merchandising celebrity twins? Yeah, that's more like it.

They'll be so happy to hear that the girls recently introduced a pair of holiday fragrances perfect for the ponytailed set.

The fragrances -- mary-kateandashley One and mary-kateandashley Two -- are as different as the girls are. One is contemporary with a mix of pineapple, freesia, chocolate and warm spices. Two is fun and flirty with scents of apple, white peach and orchids. Holiday gift sets of the fragrance include a 1-ounce spray and 2-ounce body lotion for $11.99 at CVS, Target, Wal-Mart and other stores.

Heidi's rules for living

Wondering why supermodel Heidi Klum is so fabulous and you aren't? Check out her new book Heidi Klum's Body of Knowledge (Crown, $27.50) and you'll discover her secrets. In the book the appealing, bubbly Klum shares her eight rules to live by, the very principles she herself used to become so successful. From Rule No. 1 -- "You have to want it, Baby (Desire)" -- all the way to Rule No. 8 -- "Have a blast while it lasts (Fun)" -- she's got it all covered.

Which is more than we can say for her various stages of undress that have been depicted on such magazine covers as GQ, American Photo and Cosmopolitan over the years ... but really, we digress.
