Player of the Year

Ashley Myers, John Carroll

She finished with 25 goals and six assists to help make the Patriots' offense go. Myers combined with midfielder Jamie Zimmerman (12 goals, 25 assists) to give John Carroll one of the area's most potent combinations.

Zimmerman often helped get Myers the ball, and the senior forward would usually take advantage of her opportunities, as John Carroll won the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference title. "She just kept coming up with big plays," said John Carroll coach Gary Lynch.

Coach of the YearGary Lynch, John Carroll

Lynch guided the Patriots to a perfect season, as they went 21-0 and won the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference championship.

John Carroll had pointed towards the title all season after a heartbreaking loss to Notre Dame Prep in last year's championship game. Lynch's team beat several strong teams this season, and he kept his talent-laden team on track throughout.
