CARROLL

Player of the Year

Stephanie Kisic, So. Carroll

On a team loaded with talent, Kisic stood out as the central cog in just about everything the Carroll County champions did. Her ability to win balls, maintain possession and keep her team pushing forward was unmatched in the county, earning the senior midfielder her second straight Player of the Year honor.

An All-Metro first-team pick last season, Kisic dominated with her speed, field sense and improving stickwork. With so many talented teammates, she wasn't called on to finish much, but she contributed four goals and seven assists.

Coach of the Year

Gayle Taylor, Century

In the Knights' third season as a varsity program, Taylor turned them into contenders in Carroll County as well as the Monocacy Valley Athletic League.

After a humbling trip to the North East Tournament in which they lost big to Bryn Mawr and Maryvale, the Knights recovered and did not lose any of their next eight games, closing out the season 6-2-2.
