MARGARET (MARGE) B. ACKERMANN, 82, of Freehold died late on Sunday, December 12, 2004 at the Manor Nursing Home in Freehold. She was born in Baltimore on June 14, 1922 to Martin and Alice Baurenschub. The youngest of eight children, Marge was educated in Catholic schools in Baltimore and was married in 1946 to Henry J. (Harry) Ackermann. They lived in Baltimore, then moved to Niagara Falls, N.Y., Port Jefferson, N.Y., North Haven, Conn. and Hamilton Square before retiring to Freehold. Marge was an enormously energetic and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She devoted her time and love to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She and Harry enjoyed each day to the fullest and spent their time raising their family and serving their church. She was a devout communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church in Freehold. Marge was predeceased by her parents, three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, her sister, Eleanor Hobbs of Laurel, Md., and her five children and their spouses: Henry Jr. of Chester, N.Y., Sr. Marialice A.S.C.J. of Hamden, Conn., Bruce and Judy of Rutherford, Philip and Susan of Randolph, NJ, and Mark and June of Freehold. She also survived by 21 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements: Clayton & Son Funeral Home. 958 Adelphia Road, Adelphia, N.J. 07710. The viewing will be Thursday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 and the Funeral Mass will be held at St. Robert Bellarmine Church on Friday at 9 a.m. Internment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Freehold.
