Symphony Health Services appoints Jones CEO

Symphony Health Services appointed R. Scott Jones as president and chief executive officer of the provider of ancillary health services.

Before joining the Hunt Valley-based firm, he served as CEO of Accentia Inc. and is currently on the board of American Radiology Services Inc., an affiliate of Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions.

Bank of Glen Burnie promotes Ohmer, Himmel

The Bank of Glen Burnie has appointed Joyce A. Ohmer as a senior vice president and Michael G. Himmel an assistant vice president.

Ohmer, with the bank for more than 20 years, supervises all branch operations and implements customer privacy and identification programs.

Himmel has responsibility for maintaining and developing new commercial business and consumer loans. Active with the Glen Burnie Rotary and the Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce, the eight-year banking veteran holds a master's degree in finance from the University of Baltimore.

Commercial Real Estate

Kovacs is finance chief for Struever Bros.

Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse Inc. named John R. Kovacs as its chief financial officer. He oversees the company's daily corporate financial, tax and accounting operations.

Before joining the Baltimore-based commercial and residential developer and builder, Kovacs was a senior vice president with Kajima Construction Services. A Baltimore resident, he is a certified public accountant and a graduate of the University of Bridgeport.
