Blast tonight

Matchup: Blast (3-6) vs. Milwaukee Wave (7-2)

Site: 1st Mariner Arena

Time: 7:35

Radio: WCBM (680 AM)

Outlook: Milwaukee comes to town off victories over St. Louis and Chicago last weekend. The Blast, struggling in last place in the Eastern Division because of a rash of injuries that has sidelined up to seven players, three of them - Denison Cabral, Adilson De Lima and Carlos Garcia - for perhaps the entire season, broke a five-game losing streak last weekend, beating Cleveland, 11-7. The good news for the Blast in that game was that goalie Brian Rowland earned his first victory and will start tonight and that the team found its offense. Chile Farias, who was named MISL Forward of the Week, had three goals and two assists, while Giuliano Celenza and newly signed forward Marcos Chantel combined for five goals and an assist.
