Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Shooting: Police continued to seek a gunman who shot two men outside a lounge in the 2200 block of E. Eager St. early Saturday. Brian Chapman, 26, was shot in the back, and Jerran Jackson, 27, a disc jockey at the lounge, was wounded in the legs. Both were reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Burglary/assault: A woman was assaulted and robbed of $50 by a man she knows, who broke into her apartment in the 500 block of E. Preston St. Sunday. He also stole her 2001 Suzuki automobile with tags MKB 176.

Northern District

Shooting: A 41-year-old man who told police he was homeless was driving a 1991 Chevrolet in the 2500 block of Barclay St., about 10:15 p.m. Sunday when someone fired a shot that penetrated the car door and struck him in the back. He was reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Central District

Theft: An 88-year-old woman was about to buy a money order at Upton Check Cashing in the 1800 block of Pennsylvania Ave. about 3 p.m. Saturday when a man stole the purse she had placed on the floor near her feet. It contained $181.

Southern District

Burglary: Video games, DVDs and clothing -- all valued at $1,350 -- were stolen Sunday from a house in the 2400 block of Seamon Ave.

Burglary: A 27-inch television, a DVD player, DVD movies, 100 CDs, a saw and two phones -- all worth more than $3,000 -- were stolen along with $700 in cash Sunday from a house in the 1300 block of W. Cross St.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A 27-year-old woman was robbed of cash and her boots about 4 p.m. Friday in the 4400 block of Pimlico Road by a man armed with a knife. She reported the robbery Sunday.

Southwestern District

Theft: Someone stole nearly a dozen steaks Saturday from a Giant Food store in the 4600 block of Edmondson Ave.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A 64-year-old woman was about to enter her sister's home in the 1200 block of St. Andrews Way about 9 p.m. Sunday when a man struck her over the head with a gun several times, and took her purse containing $30. The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics for multiple cuts.

North Point Precinct

Theft/arrest: A man was arrested Sunday when he tried to leave Wal-Mart in the 2300 block of North Point Blvd. without paying for welding equipment and candles valued at $207. Charged with theft was Arthur Brown, 46, of the 1200 block of Athens Court in Bel Air.
