Cpl. David M. Branning, 21, U.S. Marine killed Iraq

Family and friends of Marine Lance Cpl. David M. Branning, who was killed Nov. 12 in Iraq, will remember the former Baltimore-area resident at a "celebration of life" ceremony at 4 p.m. tomorrow at the Homewood Friends Meeting House, 3107 N. Charles St.

Corporal Branning, 21, of Cockeysville graduated from Dulaney High School in 2001.

The David M. Branning Memorial Fund has been established at Bank of America, 6700 York Road, Baltimore 21212.

The remembrance will begin with a potluck dinner, said Corporal Branning's stepmother, Tia Steele of Govans. A memorial service, a time for poems and stories, will begin at 5:30 p.m. Both events are open to the public, Ms. Steele said.
