Baltimore Blast General Manager Kevin Healey announced today that defender Jeff Hare has signed a five-game/15-day contract and will play for the Blast this Saturday night in Cleveland.

Hare has been training with the Blast all season. He was a four-year starter at Princeton and led the team in scoring with eight points his senior year.

In other Blast news, forwards Denison Cabral and Carlos Garcia underwent successful knee surgery last week. Both players were injured on Nov. 12 against the Milwaukee Wave and are expected to miss the remainder of the regular season.
