Regina D. Evans, 45, office manager, artist

Regina D. Evans, an office manager and artist, died of undetermined causes Nov. 23 after being hospitalized at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. The Parkville resident was 45.

Born Regina Dabkowski in Baltimore, she was raised in Parkville. After graduating from Loch Raven High School in 1977, she took a job as a secretary for the Maryland Homebuilders Association.

Mrs. Evans was supervisor for 15 years of the computer graphics department at Collins Lithographing Co. Inc. in Baltimore. Since earlier this year, she had been office manager of Wilkins, Little & Matthews, a Towson accounting firm.

Mrs. Evans enjoyed gardening and, among her artistic endeavors, constructed shadow boxes and painted furniture.

Mrs. Evans was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Baynesville, where a funeral Mass was offered Saturday.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years, John Garrettson Evans Jr., a home improvement contractor; a son, John Garrettson Evans III, a student at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parochial School; her parents, Stanley and Regina Dabkowski of Parkville; two brothers, Stanley Dabkowski Jr. of Manchester and Paul Dabkowski of Riderwood; a sister, Janine Dabkowski of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
