`The Professor's Wife' to be performed Friday

The Professor's Wife, a one-act play by Harford Community College Professor Laura Fox, will be presented in Harford Community College's Chesapeake Theater at 8 p.m. Friday. The mystery, which includes adult themes, will be directed by Al Woltz. A reception with the playwright, actors and director will follow the performance.

Admission to the play includes admission to the staged readings of two winning plays from the College's One-Act Playwriting Contest in the Chesapeake Theater at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Playwright Adam Lehman of Washington will present Step in the Right Direction and Ann Pleiss of Staunton, Va., will present Something Old, Something New. An awards ceremony will follow.

Tickets to The Professor's Wife are $8, and tickets for the staged readings only are $5 (free with ticket to The Professor's Wife); tickets may be obtained by calling the HCC Ticket Office, 410-836-4211.
