Patricia Neal to appear at Chesapeake Theater

Academy Award winner Patricia Neal is scheduled to make an appearance at Harford Community College's Chesapeake Theater on Nov. 12 and 13.

The first event is "At the Movies with Patricia Neal." Neal will appear at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 12 to introduce the screening of her 1951 science-fiction film, The Day the Earth Stood Still, which also stars Michael Rennie and "Gort" the robot. Admission is $5.

"An Afternoon with Patricia Neal" will be held at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 13. Neal returns to the Chesapeake Theater for an interview with HCC Professor Wayne Hepler. Neal will share a film montage and answer questions from the audience. Assigned seating is $20, and $15 for students with HCC identification. Proceeds benefit the HCC Foundation Inc. and WHFC-FM, Harford County's public radio station.
