The Oct. 28 Maryland Night Daily lottery number printed in yesterday's editions of The Sun was incorrect. The correct number is 794.

An article yesterday on civilian fatalities in Iraq misstated the country's total population, which is an estimated 24 million.

An article in Thursday's editions about Maryland congressional races misspelled the name of Kenneth T. Bosley, the Democratic candidate from the 6th District.

An article in Wednesday's editions incorrectly reported the number of black bears killed in Monday's hunt. Twenty dead bears were counted at the state check-in station, according to a spokeswoman for the state Department of Natural Resources.

A sports column by Laura Vecsey on Monday incorrectly identified a Boston Red Sox fan who was quoted as Dave Micilli. His name is Dave Cirilli.

A sports column by Milton Kent incorrectly identified the football coach at Dundalk High School. The coach's name is David Hall.

The Sun regrets the errors.
