Tonight's Game

Monday Morning Qb

Week Seven Recap

October 25, 2004

Broncos (5-1) at Bengals (1-4)

Time/TV: 9 p.m.; chs, 2, 7

Line: Broncos by 6 1/2

Trends: Broncos appear on Monday Night Football for 13th straight year, a streak that started after the Bengals' last Monday night appearance at home (1989). Denver won, 30-10, a year ago in Cincinnati, and have won nine of the past 10 meetings.

Attractions: In an alarming mismatch, the Broncos send their No. 1 rushing game against the Bengals' No. 32 rushing defense. The Broncos also have the league's No. 1 overall defense, perhaps the toughest test yet for QB Carson Palmer.

Jaguars (5-2) at Texans (3-3): The upstart Jaguars will try to protect their AFC South lead, while the Texans will try to shake up the division even more. QB matchup: Byron Leftwich vs. David Carr.

Giants (4-2) at Vikings (5-1): After losing at home to Detroit, the Giants travel to face the Vikings' offensive juggernaut.
