Ravens Gameday

Ravens 20, Bills 6

October 25, 2004

Score: Tied 3-3PLAY Quarter: First

Situation: Bills' ball, third-and-nine at the Ravens' 45

Play: Bills quarterback Drew Bledsoe (11) is in the shotgun, flanked by running backs Willis McGahee (21) and Travis Henry (20). Bledsoe rolls to his right and fakes the pitch to Henry. Hoping the defense has bought the fake, Bledsoe turns around and throws a screen pass to McGahee on his left. The high throw goes through McGahee's hands and is deflected into the air by safety Chad Williams (49). An alert Deion Sanders (37) picks off the ball at the Bills' 48 and has no one to beat as he goes into the end zone for the go-ahead score.

Aftermath: The Ravens' defense would intercept three more Bledsoe passes, - including one by Sanders in the end zone and one by Williams at the 1-yard line - to thwart the Bills in the second half.
