October 25, 2004|BY A SUN STAFF WRITER

A man remained hospitalized yesterday after he and his girlfriend were wounded in a shooting late Saturday at their Maryland City home that police said appeared to have resulted from a domestic dispute.

Anne Arundel County police said they were called shortly before 11:45 p.m. to the house in the 300 block of Park Hall South for a report of a possible self-inflicted gunshot wound, and found two people injured.

Raymond Michael Booker, 49, was shot in the upper body and was reported in serious condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Ardeth Nardecin Scott, 40, was wounded in the lower body and was released after treatment at Laurel Regional Hospital, police said.

Police said they were still trying to determine the circumstances and who fired the shots.
