Ravens Vs. Bills Nfl Preview: M& T Bank Stadium, 1 P.m., Ch. 13

October 24, 2004

George Kokinis, the Ravens' pro personnel director, sizes up the Bills:

Strength of offense

Receiver Eric Moulds. If you want to say Terrell Owens, Torry Holt and Marvin Harrison are the NFL's elite receivers, then Moulds is right behind - if not among them. He has quickness to get separation and strength to go over the top of defenders downfield. A complete receiver, Moulds can stretch the field and do the dirty work underneath.

Strength of defense

Cornerback Nate Clements. Like Moulds, he is under the radar as far as a top name in the league. Yet Clements' play-making ability will help him develop into one of the top-tier cornerbacks like Chris McAlister and Champ Bailey. He knows how to play the ball and has excellent timing.

Key matchup

Ravens RB Chester Taylor vs. Buffalo LB London Fletcher. Taylor has shown when he has been in the game the ability to provide excellent production. He has good vision and is versatile in catching the ball. On film, Fletcher is running all over the place. The 5-foot-10, 245-pound middle linebacker is like a gnat who is everywhere.
