GAIL M. JACKSON, 60, formerly of Laurel, MD, entered into God's eternal care Wednesday, October 20, 2004, at the home of her sister in Hanover, PA. Born August 15, 1944 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Earl Parsons and Ruby Pearl (Christian) Jackson. She was a member of Laurel Presbyterian Church, Laurel, MD, for many years. She was employed in the Marketing Dept. of National Geographic Magazine, Washington, D.C. for 23 years, most recently as Director of Advertising Production Analysis. Her survivors include a sister, Sandra J. Brown, Hanover; three brothers, Philip G. Jackson, Mechanicsburg, PA, Roger F. Jackson, Smithsburg, MD and Rev. Thomas J. Jackson, Petersburg, VA. A Memorial Service will be held 6 P.M. Friday, October 29th at Laurel Presbyterian Church, 7610 Sandy Spring Rd., Laurel, MD 20707 with Rev. Amy Schacht and Rev. Thomas J. Jackson officiating. There will be no public viewing. Burial will be private in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD. For those desiring, Memorial contributions may be made, in Gail's memory, to her Church (aforementioned) or St. Andrews Church, 2460 County Dr., Petersburg, VA 23803.
