Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Homicide arrest: Lamont Chisholm, 22, was arrested yesterday at his home in the 200 block of N. Glover St. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder. Chisholm is charged in the Oct. 12 shooting of Reginald Harrison, 28, in the 500 block of N. Highland Ave.

Northwestern District

Homicide arrest: Jermaine Winkler, 22, was arrested yesterday at his home in the 2400 block of W. Lafayette Ave. on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder in the shooting Oct. 1 of John Wesley, 42, in the 3700 block of Eldorado Ave.

Stabbing: A 36-year-old man was walking in the 5200 block of Cordelia Ave. about 7 p.m. Wednesday when he was accosted by two men, one of whom stabbed him. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital.

Northeastern District

Arrest: Kyle Bethea, 18, of the 1100 block of N. Woodington Road was arrested yesterday at a parole and probation office on Gay Street by the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a charge of attempted murder. Bethea is charged with shooting Elston Howard, 24, in the 1900 block of E. 30th St. on Sept. 22.

Central District

Burglary: A combination VCR/DVD player and video games - all valued at $700 - were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 1800 block of St. Paul St.

Theft: Law books, a pocket computer, cash and other items - all worth $1,420 - were stolen Wednesday from a 1995 Saab in the 600 block of E. Pratt St.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Officers assaulted/arrest: At least three officers were injured early Wednesday while trying to arrest a man in the vestibule of an apartment building in the 1000 block of Pleasant Oaks Road on a city warrant charging him with assaulting his former girlfriend. The man, nearly 6 feet tall and 260 pounds, allegedly struck, kicked and choked the officers before being subdued. Officer Clifton Pugh, who was choked, was treated at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Charged with multiple counts of assault was Anthony Johnson, 37, of the first block of Misty Wood Court. Charged with hindering police was his current girlfriend, Wileva White of the Pleasant Oaks Road address, police said.

Wilkens Precinct

Robbery: Police were seeking three men, one with a handgun, who entered S.R. Center, a massage parlor in the 5500 block of Baltimore National Pike, about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and robbed two employees and a customer of about $300. A fourth man stood watch outside.

White Marsh Precinct

Theft/arrests: Two employees of Hecht's at White Marsh Mall were arrested Wednesday and charged with stealing cash and goods worth nearly $800 from the store. Charged were Janelle McNeil, 26, a cashier from the 3100 block of Rosalie Ave., and Lashanda Roberts, 19, a sales clerk from the 5000 block of Cynthia Terrace.
