Why: Twelfth-century poet Francesco Petrarch spent his life pining for Laura, a woman he would never have. Nevertheless, he famously compiled a multitude of poems about her in Il Canzoniere. So, we urge you to celebrate unrequited love with your love Saturday at a reception and music recital honoring Petrarch's 700th birthday.
