Towson men's basketball opens season Nov. 15

Pat Kennedy makes his Towson University head coaching debut on Nov. 15 when the Tigers face the Ohio State Buckeyes in the first round of the NABC Guardians Classic in Columbus, Ohio.

The Value City Arena is one of three opening round sites of the 2004 Guardians Classic scheduled for Monday & Tuesday, No. 15 and 16. Morgan State and Robert Morris are the other opponents in Columbus. The Classic concludes Nov. 23 in Kansas City, Mo.

The Tigers open the home portion of their 2004-05 schedule on Nov. 19 against visiting Norfolk State. Other home games against non-conference opponents include the College of Charleston (Nov. 29), American University (Dec. 8) and Lehigh (Dec. 29). Towson begins its Colonial Athletic Association schedule at home against Delaware on Jan. 5.
