MR. JAMES Mc SHERRY, husband, father and retired Frederick attorney (self-styled country lawyer), died on October 13, 2004 at his home. He was born January 24, 1921 in Frederick, MD., second son of W. Clinton Mc Sherry and M. Natalie Mc Carthy Mc Sherry. Mr. Mc Sherry was married to Marian Shriver Mc Sherry on January 5, 1946. They lived in Frederick most of their married lives, and raised twelve children: James Mc Sherry, Jr. and his wife, Mary of Philadelphia; Carbery Mc Sherry Caron and her husband John, of Lebanon, CT., M. Natalie Mc Sherry and her husband Kip J. Naugle, of Baltimore, Caroline Mc Sherry Black and her husband Clinton of Timonium, W. Clinton Mc Sherry and his wife Frances, of Bel Air, Michael Shriver Mc Sherry and his wife Frances of Newton, MA, Katherine Mc Sherry Brigham and her husband John, of Hull, MA, Ann Mc Sherry Chafey and her husband Jim, of El Cajon, CA., Madeline Mc Sherry Mc Gaughan and her husband Mark, of North Potomac, Christine K. Mc Sherry and her husband Frederick M. Hopkins, of Baltimore, Emily Mc Sherry Craig and her husband Brian, of Bethesda and Padraic Mc Sherry Morton and her husband Charles, of Baltimore. His only brother, W. Clinton Mc Sherry, also lived in Frederick until his death in 1994. Mr. Mc Sherry is survived by his wife, his children and twenty-nine grandchildren. Family and friends will say a Rosary at St. John the Evangelist Church, 118 East Second Street, Frederick, on Friday evening at 5 P.M. The Funeral will be held Saturday, October 16, 2004 at 10 A.M., also at St. John the Evangelist Church. The family has requested that remembrances be sent to Mount St. Mary's Seminary, St. John's at Prospect Hall or the Mc Sherry Scholarship Fund at St. John Regional Catholic School.
