Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Arrest: Terrell Carter of the 3200 block of Lyndale Ave. was arrested last week in the 3000 block of Clifton Park Terrace by district officers on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. Carter, 21, arrested Thursday, is charged with shooting Michael Brown, also 21, near the victim's home in the 3100 block of Cliftmont Ave. on Sept. 28.

Robbery try: A man armed with a syringe entered a High's store in the 6600 block of Belair Road about 4 p.m. Saturday and ordered a female clerk to give him money from the cash register. When the clerk refused and backed away from the counter, the man tried unsuccessfully to open the register, then fled on foot.

Northwestern District

Shooting: Police were seeking a gunman who shot a 34-year-old man in both legs as the victim walked in the 3000 block of Woodland Ave. about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Western District

Carjacking: A 42-year-old man was driving in the 2400 block of Reisterstown Road about 8 p.m. Saturday when he stopped and rolled down his window for a man who asked for directions. Before the motorist could reply, the man pulled a handgun, forced him from the black 2000 Ford Focus with tags 209 BGB and drove off.

Southeastern District

Robbery/arrest: Marlo Castro, 29, was walking in the 3000 block of E. Baltimore St. about 5:40 a.m. Saturday when a male teenager armed with a knife robbed him of $30. Moments later, Officer Dominic Barnes arrested the youth and recovered Castro's money and the knife.

Eastern District

Robbery: A gunman attacked a 50-year-old man in the 2300 block of Harford Road about 3:30 a.m. Saturday and robbed him of jewelry valued at $1,100. When the victim attempted to flee, the robber knocked him to the ground and struck him several times with the gun. The victim refused medical treatment.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery: Police were seeking three men, one armed with a gun and another with a bat, who robbed a 42-year-old man of his wallet, keys and $5 in the 600 block of Cranbrook Road about 11 p.m. Friday.

Franklin Precinct

Burglary: Trophies, sweat suits and a camera were stolen over the weekend from Joe Polanzo's Kempo Karate in the 1400 block of Reisterstown Road.

Towson Precinct

Church burglary: Someone entered Church of the Immaculate Conception in the 200 block of Ware Ave. through a door Saturday and removed an undisclosed sum of money from a box.
