Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Shooting: A 34-year-old man was about to enter his apartment building in the 3500 block of Clifton Ave. about 8 p.m. Tuesday when robbers, one with a handgun, demanded his money. When the man told them he had none and turned away, the gunman shot him in a leg, the groin and left shoulder. The victim was reported in serious condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Central District

Robbery: Police were seeking a man known as "Reds" who gave a 19-year-old woman a ride to the 1200 block of Morton St. about 3 a.m. Tuesday, then robbed her of a purse with $300.

Western District

Armed carjacking: A 24-year-old man was leaving a convenience store in the 1800 block of N. Payson St. about 1 p.m. Monday when two men - one with a gun, the other a knife - followed him to his 1998 Cadillac DeVille. They took his wallet, cell phone and keys, and the car with temporary tags 34239M.

Southeastern District

Burglary: Video games, a DVD player and a karaoke machine - all valued at $1,396 - were taken during the weekend from Hope Village, a day care center in the 1500 block of E. Fayette St.

Southern District

Assault: A man, 23, was standing in the 2000 block of Ramsey St. about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday when another man struck him over the head with a tire iron. He was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: Two apparently unarmed men entered the Royal Farms store in the 2400 block of E. Joppa Road about 1:20 a.m. Tuesday and removed more than $1,000 worth of cigarettes from a display.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: A mini-bike and a motorized scooter were stolen Tuesday from a shed in the 2400 block of Meadows Road. They were valued at $1,100.

Franklin Precinct

Burglary: A hammer drill valued at $175 was stolen Tuesday from a trailer behind Franklin Middle School in the first block of Cockeys Mill Road.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: A marble fountain statue was stolen Monday from the front yard of a house in the 6500 block of Golden Ring Road.
