Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Shooting/arrest: Stephen Francis Potochney, 46, was arrested about 8:20 p.m. Monday near his home in the 5300 block of Selfridge Ave. and charged with attempted murder in the shooting two hours earlier of his 44-year-old former girlfriend. Potochney is accused of entering Cynthia Denharrt's home in the 1000 block of Lerew Way in Armistead Gardens about 6 p.m. and shooting her in the right arm with a .32-caliber handgun during an argument.

Eastern District

Arrest: Robert McCray, 16, of the 900 block of N. Linwood Ave. was arrested Monday in the 700 block of N. Rose St. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him as an adult with attempted murder. McCray is charged with shooting Duran McCormick, 21, on Aug. 6 in the 2700 block of E. Chase St.

Southwestern District

Shooting: A 71-year-old man was seated in his car parked in the 4600 block of Pen Lucy Road about 6:30 a.m. Monday when he was shot four times by a man who tried to rob him. The victim was treated for minor wounds at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Stabbing: A 41-year-old man was standing inside the Chicken & Trout store in the 4000 block of Frederick Ave. about 7 p.m. Monday talking to a friend when another man stabbed him once in the right side and twice in the right arm. The victim was treated at St. Agnes HealthCare.

Central District

Burglary: Video games, a videocassette recorder, DVD player and four cell phones - all worth $1,137 - were stolen Monday from a house in the 1400 block of Argyle Ave.

Northern District

Robbery: A gunman robbed a Royal Farms store in the 200 block of W. Cold Spring Lane of an undisclosed sum of money about 9 p.m. Monday.

Baltimore County

Franklin Precinct

Burglary: Between April and Sunday, someone entered a garage in the 8800 block of Pikesville Road and stole a beige 1965 Morgan English sports roadster valued at $20,000. The car had no tags; its vehicle identification number is 5835.

Woodlawn Precinct

Assault: Police were seeking a teenager known as "Chuck" who threatened a boy, 13, and a girl, 12, with a sawed-off shotgun in the first block of Walden Maple Court about 7:40 p.m. Monday.

Wilkens Precinct

Bank robbery: Two men robbed Provident Bank in the 5400 block Baltimore National Pike of an undisclosed sum of money about noon Monday after one of them gave a teller a holdup note.
