Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Armed robbery: Moments after entering her 1998 BMW in a parking garage in the 1900 block of Jefferson St. about 2 p.m. Saturday, a 38-year-old woman was grabbed around the neck by a knife-wielding man and robbed of her wallet, cell phone and car keys.

Armed robbery: A 41-year-old woman was walking across the playground at Thomas G. Hayes Elementary School in the 600 block of N. Central Ave. about 11:30 a.m. Saturday when she was stopped by a man who asked for a cigarette. When the woman said she had none, the man pulled out a handgun and robbed her of $680 in cash and jewelry - two gold necklaces with crosses.

Northern District

Assault: A 30-year-old man was sitting on the front steps of a house in the 2600 block of Greenmount Ave. about 5:15 p.m. Saturday when another man struck him over the head with an unknown weapon. The victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Northwestern District

Stolen vehicle: A 2000 Honda Accord with District of Columbia tags BJ0268 was stolen Saturday in the 4100 block of Ridgewood Ave.

Southern District

Assault/arrest: A woman and her 74-year-old mother were arguing Saturday in their home in the 600 block of Charton Ave. when the daughter allegedly struck her mother over the head and in the chest with an aluminum crutch. Charged with aggravated assault was Roslyn Wright, 49.

Baltimore County

Franklin Precinct

Theft: Police were seeking four men who posed as police officers and entered a house in the 800 block of Painted Post Court on Friday evening, inquiring if the female occupant recognized photos they had of various people. While two of the men kept the woman engaged in conversation, the others entered the lower level. After the four left, the woman noticed that several contracts for a musical promotion company were missing.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 2600 block of Willow Glen Drive on Saturday through a kitchen window while the occupants were home and stole a purse containing $410.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Electronics valued at $1,500 were stolen Saturday from Radio Shack in the 4600 block of Wilkens Ave. by someone who entered after breaking the glass front door with a rock.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Someone broke into a house in the 5600 block of Cynthia Terrace on Friday through a rear window and removed $1,000 from a bedroom.
