Dickinson (2-1) at Johns Hopkins (3-0)

Site: Homewood Field

Time: 7

Series: Hopkins leads, 28-25-4

Last week: Both teams idle

Outlook: The Blue Jays have won 13 straight home openers entering this opening Centennial Conference test. They have taken 17 of their past 18 games and have captured six straight. This is the first of six consecutive games leading up to a regular season-ending showdown Nov. 13 with McDaniel at Hopkins. Dickinson has abandoned a three yards and a cloud of dust offense for a more prolific passing attack, with senior QB Kevin Williams throwing for 591 yards in three games. - Bill Free
