On September 27, 2004, MILDRED KILLMAN (nee Slater), beloved wife of the late Lt. Col. Henry Paul Killman, dear sister-in-law of Carolyn Correa, loving aunt of Janet Overby, Herbert W. Slater, III, Anna Nadeau and Thomas Slater. Mrs. Killman founded a chapter of Mended Hearts, assisted heart patients at Brooke Army Medical Center and worked with burn patients and their families as a member of the Protestant Women's Guild. In 1961, Mrs. Killman opened a travel agency which she owned and operated in La Villita, TX. She was involved in the Mexican Chamber of Commerce and the International Good Neighbor's Council. A Graveside Service and Interment will be held at Oak Lawn Cemetery on Saturday at 10 A.M. Arrangements by the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Avenue.
