1 killed, 5 injured in 2-vehicle crash in Anne Arundel

September 29, 2004

A Glen Burnie woman was killed and her husband and their three children injured Monday night in a two-vehicle collision on Route 3, Anne Arundel County police said.

Wanda Jean Schulze, 34, was pronounced dead at North Arundel Hospital about 10 p.m. Police said Schulze, her husband, Terry Matthew Parker, 44, and the children were in the family's 1993 Ford Taurus when Parker, the driver, attempted to turn left at a yellow light from Route 3 onto Old Stage Road and was struck by a Ford F150 pickup driven by Scotty Ray Williams, 50, of Millersville.

Parker was listed in serious but stable condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The couple's children were treated at Johns Hopkins Children's Center and discharged yesterday afternoon. Williams, the driver of the pickup, suffered minor injuries and was treated at North Arundel Hospital and released.

No charges had been filed yesterday in the accident.
