Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Robberies/arrest: A 42-year-old Northeast Baltimore man has been charged with robbing two women during separate incidents on St. Paul Street in Charles Village. Officer Eric Dodson was in the 2500 block of Maryland Ave. Sunday when he spotted a suspect in the unarmed robbery Sept. 18 of a woman in the 2700 block of St. Paul St. Dodson and other officers chased the man and arrested him. Police said the man, Arto Dixon, of the 6800 block of Sturbridge Drive, has also been charged with robbing a woman in the 2900 block of St. Paul St. about 11 p.m. Saturday.

Theft: A stereo radio and 60 compact discs - all valued at more than $300 - were stolen Monday from a vehicle parked in the 2200 block of South Road.

Northeastern District

Robbery: An 85-year-old woman was walking in the 6000 block of Winthrope Ave. about noon Monday when a man shoved her to the pavement and stole her purse containing $700 in cash and personal property.

Shooting: A 15-year-old boy was reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital after he was shot in the back during an incident in a house in the 3600 block of Belair Road about 10:20 p.m. Monday.

Assault: A woman told police she was choked nearly to unconsciousness by her boyfriend after an argument in the bedroom of their home in the 1300 block of Woodbourne Ave. early yesterday. The man fled and was being sought yesterday.

Theft from vehicle: Four tires and their rims - all valued at $1,700 - were stolen Monday from a 1997 Cadillac parked in the 3200 block of Dudley Ave.

Carjacking: A driver for Towson-based Jimmy's Cab was stopped in the 2000 block of E. Belvedere Ave. on Monday when a gunman ordered him out of the vehicle and drove off in his 1997 Chevrolet Lumina with tags 21613B.

Central District

Shooting: A 19-year-old was walking in the 400 block of Manse Court about 1 a.m. yesterday when he was shot in the right knee and buttocks. He was treated at Maryland General Hospital.

Southern District

Theft: Police were seeking a man driving a pickup who stopped at Pennington and Patapsco avenues Monday and took a concrete saw valued at $1,000 from a truck.

Southwestern District

Theft: A 20-inch television and several video games were stolen Monday from a house in the 1200 block of Ashburton St.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Stabbing: A 15-year-old boy was walking in the 3800 block of Elmcroft Road about 8 p.m. Monday when another male stabbed him in the neck with a knife. The victim was in serious condition at Shock Trauma.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A computer and a safe containing nearly $4,000 and three gold rings were stolen Monday from a house in the 2500 block of Taylor Ave.

Franklin Precinct

Burglary: A metal box containing more than $5,000 was stolen Monday from a house in the 4300 block of Labyrinth Road.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: A homeless woman was sleeping with her husband and two children in a condemned house in the 2100 block of Boundary Ave. early Sunday when someone entered and stole her purse containing $150, medications and other property.
