SALISBURY - Junior quarterback Travis Peters, making his first collegiate start, rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns yesterday to lead Salisbury to a 54-20 non-conference win over Greensboro.

Salisbury (4-0) scored 37 straight points after Greensboro (0-3) took a 7-3 lead.

Peters, playing in place of injured starter Dustin Johnson, put Salisbury ahead for good with a 3-yard touchdown run at 10:43 of the second quarter, capping a six-play, 53-yard drive.

Peters ran 49 yards for a score on Salisbury's next possession to push the lead to 16-7.
