Community Mediation Program

will offer free training for volunteer mediator applicants at the McFaul Activity Center, 525 W. MacPhail Road, Bel Air. The training sessions will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays Oct. 9, 10, 16, 17, 23 and 24 The final five-hour follow-up training session will be scheduled at a later date. The training requires a commitment to complete the entire 50 hours of basic mediation training. Participants must agree to one year of volunteer service to the program making themselves available to mediate an average of twice per month.
