PATRICIA ELAINE REBACK, 48, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Thursday at the home of her sister in Yadkinville, NC. Miss Reback was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on May 31, 1956, daughter to the late Dr. John F. Reback, of South Bend Indiana and the late Dr. Avelina Roque Reback formerly of Manila, Philippines. Patricia known to her family, as "Trisha" was a loving partner, sister, aunt and friend that will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She attended Towson High School in Towson, Maryland and Central Piedmont Community College studying Music Therapy. In addition Trisha studied Piano at The Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Maryland. She was a long time resident of Carmel Estates in Charlotte. Trisha was not only an accomplished musician but also an inspiring and caring teacher of Piano. She was also a devoted primary caregiver to her mother during an extended illness. Her family was the center of her life, and she never missed an opportunity to attend important events in the lives of her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her life partner; Shaun Donaldson, of Charlotte, four sisters; Victoria Reback Murphy, of Charlotte, Linda Reback Zandler, of Baltimore, MD, Evelyne Reback Layton, of Raleigh, NC, Dr. Joanie Reback Williams, of Yadkinville, NC, as well as her five nieces; Melanie Murphy Hogg, Andrea Murphy, both of Charlotte, Courtney Williams, of Yadkinville, Jennifer Layton, Casey Layton, both of Raleigh, four nephews, Erik Murphy, of Charlotte, John Zandler, of Baltimore, Jacob Williams, of Yadkinville, Tommy Reback Layton, of Raleigh, and her one grandnephew, Robert James Hogg, of Charlotte. There will be a prayer service starting at 7 P.M. Friday at the Weddington Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends immediately following until 9 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 A.M. Saturday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with Father Tien Duong Celebrant. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn East Cemetery. Memorials in her memory may be made to the Buddy Kemp Caring House, 242 Colonial Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28207. Arrangements for the family are in the care of Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service, Weddington/Matthews.
