On September 23, 2004, RETIREDSERGEANT EDWARD G. CONNOR, SR. of the Baltimore City Police Department; beloved husband of Sophia Gonter Connor (nee Karpook) and the late Catherine A. (nee Brown); dear step-father of Theodore and Lawrence Gonter and father of Dennis Connor and the late Edward G. Connor, Jr. Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may gather at Charles S. Zeiler and Son Inc., 6224 Eastern Avenue (at Folcroft St), on Friday 1:30 to 5:30 and 7 to 9 P.M., where a Catholic Prayer service will be held on Saturday at 10 A.M.
