On Friday, friends may call at the VAUGHN C. GREENE Funeral Services (East), 4905 York Road, where the family will receive friends from 3 to 8 P.M. On Saturday, Ms. Myers will lie in state at Perkins Square Baptist Church, 2500 Edmondson Ave., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10 A.M. with services to follow. Inquiries to 410-433-7500. JEAN (Neff) MYERS, 80, at Hospice House, Williamsburg, VA, after a courageous struggle with lung cancer. She was a native of Baltimore, MD and resident of Chambrel of Williamsburg, VA, a Brookdale Retirement Community. In addition to her dedication as Wife and Mother, Mrs. Myers sustained a long and notable career in accounting and business administration mostly as part of the medical community in Baltimore. She is survived by her husband, Garland Lee Myers, Jr.; her two sons, G. Lee Myers, III and wife Nancy, of Williamsburg and Garrett Craig Myers and wife Renee, of Woodbridge, VA; grandchildren, Kimberly Leigh Taylor, Natalie Beth Myers and Garrick Paul Myers; great-grandchild, Rebeka Leigh Burns, all of Northern Virginia; brother, John Edward Neff, Jr., of Brentwood, TN. Friends and family may pay their respects at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, VA on Saturday, September 25, between noon and 2 and a brief service will immediately follow. Burial will be held 1 P.M., Monday, September 27, at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery and mausoleum, 200 E. Padonia Road, Timonium, MD. Family and friends are requested to gather at the cemetery administration office, located on the right side of Padoina Road, by 12:45 P.M., and will be led in procession to the mausoleum. Memorial contributions are requested to be sent in lieu of flowers to Hospice Support Care of Williamsburg, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, VA 23188.
