Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Robbery/arrests: Ryan Evans, 25, was walking in the 700 block of S. Grundy St. about 12:15 a.m. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, demanded his money. After giving up $65, Evans noticed the weapon was a pellet gun. He pulled out a folding Buck knife and cut the gunman in the face. The robbers fled, but were arrested moments later in a nearby alley by Officer Scott Ripley. The gun and Evans' money were recovered. Charged with armed robbery after treatment at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for a cut was Charles Diggs, 18, of the 500 block of Ridgewood Ave. Also charged was Donte Harris, 24, of the 3700 block of E. Lombard St.

Western District

Shooting: Delsean Berry, 28, was walking in the 200 block of N. Payson St., about 11:40 p.m. Tuesday when two young males, one with a handgun, demanded money. After placing $20 and his cell phone on the ground, Berry turned to flee and was shot in the lower left back. He ran home, then was driven by his mother to Bon Secours Hospital. He was in critical condition.

Central District

Robbery try: A man who implied he was armed entered the Brookshire Suites hotel in the 100 block of E. Lombard St. through a rear door about 6 a.m. Tuesday and ordered a female desk clerk to give him money from a cash drawer. When the clerk told him there was no money there, he fled.

Southern District

Theft: A helmet valued at more than $200 was stolen Tuesday from the back of a 1992 Harley-Davidson motorcycle parked in the first block of E. Cross St.

Burglary: A laptop computer, 200 compact discs, six DVDs, a 35 mm camera and video games - all valued at $4,854 - were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1400 block of Webster St.

Northern District

Robbery: A gunman robbed Royal Farms in the 1100 block of W. 41st St. of an undisclosed sum of money about 9 p.m. Monday and fled in a gold car driven by a female.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A driver for Domino's Pizza was stepping from her car in the first block of Acorn Circle about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday when three males robbed her of cash, the food she was about to deliver and her blue 2004 Hyundai with tags MMK 571.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Someone broke into Wally's Country Store in the 19200 block of Middletown Road on Tuesday and stole $200.

Franklin Precinct

Burglary: A 27-inch TV, DVD player and videocassette recorder were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 200 block of Clarendon Ave.
