Suddenly on Saturday, September 18, 2004 SAMUEL BLUM of Lawrenceway, GA. Husband of Christine (Ericson) Blum, two sons Joshua Blum of Schoharie, NY Seth Ross of Hoonah, Alaska, one sister Selma Blaker of Pikesville, MD and two grandchildren. Mr. Blum was born December 2, 1945 in Baltimore, MD, a son of Abraham and Diane Cavalier-Stein Blum. He had resided in Georgia for the past 10 years and had lived in the Baltimore area and Lancaster, PA area previously. He and his wife recently purchased property in Scholarie and had planned on building a retiement home. He received his master's degree from the University of Maryland in 1965. He worked for the Social Security Administration for over 26 years as a Manager before his retirement in 2002. Mr. Blum served his country during the Viet Nam War as a ranger before being wounded.. A period of mourning will be observed in New York City. The Langan Funeral Home of Schoharie and Central Bridge, NY is assisting the family with arrangements. BODINE, loving wife of the late Seeber K. Bodine; mother of Seeber K. Bodine Jr. of Baltimore MD and Bruce A. Bodine of Tarpon Springs, FL; dear aunt of Gordon Daiger of Washington, DC; dear friend of Barbara Bodine of Westminster, MD. A memorial gathering will be held in the Broadmead Retirement Community, 13801 York Rd, Cockeysville, MD 21030 on Thursday, September 23 at 3 P.M. Interment private, at the Church of the Redeemer.
