Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Victim named: Police identified yesterday Nathaniel James Jackson Jr., 28, of the 700 block of Wharton Court as the man shot in the head about 2:35 a.m. Saturday as he stood in the 1200 block of Appleleaf Court, in the Somerset Homes public housing complex. Jackson died a short time later at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Chris Bieling at 410-396-2100.

Shooting: A 21-year-old man was walking in the 400 block of E. 21st. St. about 11:15 a.m. Saturday when an unknown person shot him in the face and chest. He was reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins.

Northwestern District

Arrest: Brandon Cross of the 4000 block of Elderon Ave. was arrested Thursday by Officer Chris Wade of the Northwestern District on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. Cross, 17, was charged as an adult with shooting Michael Kuhn, 26, on Aug. 13 in the 4100 block of W. Belvedere Ave.

Northeastern District

Shooting: Two men were arguing in the 5500 block of Force Road about 1 p.m. Saturday when one shot the other in the back. The 40-year-old victim was listed in fair condition at Johns Hopkins. No arrest had been made.

Burglary: Three televisions and a DVD player were stolen over the weekend from a house in the 5400 block of Force Road.

Southwestern District

Robbery: After an unlicensed taxi driver picked up a woman at Edmondson Avenue and Longwood Street about 7 a.m. Saturday, he drove her to the first block of S. Hilton St. and robbed her of $183 while threatening her with a knife. The man sped off in a gold two-door Chevrolet El Camino.

Western District

Robbery try: Police were seeking two men, one with a handgun, who forced their way into a house in the 300 block of N. Calhoun St. about 6:20 p.m. Thursday and demanded money from two adult female occupants. After forcing the women onto a floor, the men searched the house. Finding no money, they fled.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Two .38-caliber Colt handguns and a large jar containing coins were stolen over the weekend from the bedroom of a house in the 800 block of Streambank Court.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Several DVDs, a cell phone and a wallet containing an undisclosed sum of cash were stolen Saturday from a house in the 11700 block of Mayfair Field Drive.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Two window air conditioners were stolen Friday from a house in the 4300 block of Ridge Road.
