Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northwestern District

Shooting/arrest: A 23-year-old man was shot in the left shoulder and hip about 11:35 p.m. Monday in the 4000 block of Bancroft Road. Before the victim's release from Sinai Hospital, police learned he had been charged in a warrant with auto theft and arrested him. The man's name was not available.

Shooting: A 45-year-old woman was walking away after arguing with two men in an alley in the 3000 block of W. Belvedere Ave. about 3:15 a.m. Tuesday when one of the men pulled out a handgun and shot her in the right arm and chest. She was reported in good condition at Sinai Hospital. No arrest had been made.

Assault: A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man who chased a 35-year-old man in the 5100 block of Park Heights Ave. about 8 p.m. Monday, then cut his throat with a box cutter. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital.

Western District

Shooting: A 32-year-old man was wounded once in the right buttock about 2:40 a.m. Tuesday as a man chasing him in the 700 block of Baker St. fired eight shots with a semiautomatic handgun. The victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A driver for Zorba's Carryout in the 5600 block of Harford Road was stepping from his car in the 5600 block of Carter Ave. about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday when he was assaulted by two men and a woman and robbed of two pizzas and more than $100.

Eastern District

Burglary: A karaoke machine and 60 DVDs - all worth $2,500 - were stolen from a house in the 1700 block of N. Montford Ave. between Aug. 25 and Sept. 10. The burglary was reported Tuesday.

Central District

Theft: A Baltimore City Community College parking permit valued at $40 was stolen Tuesday from a 1997 Ford Torino parked in the first block of S. Gay St.

Southern District

Robbery: A disabled 53-year-old woman was outside her house in the 1600 block of Ramsey St. about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday when a man asked her for a quarter. Before the woman could reply, the man stole her purse containing $25 and personal property.

Burglary: A laptop computer, mountain bike, computer parts and a TV - all worth $6,310 - were stolen Tuesday from a house in the first block of W. Ostend St.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Bank robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed Provident Bank in the 5400 block of Petrie Way of an undisclosed sum of money about 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Franklin Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered Rambler's Motorcycle Club in the 5500 block of Deer Park Road between Sept. 8 and Sunday and stole a TV, videocassette recorder and cash.
