TONIGHT'S GAME

GREEN BAY AT CAROLINE

Time/TV: 9 p.m.; chs, 2, 7

Line: Panthers by 3

Trends: Packers QB Brett Favre makes his 190th consecutive regular-season start, extending his own league record. He needs four TD passes to become the second quarterback in history to reach 350, joining Dan Marino (420). The Panthers' Jake Delhomme, who will make his 18th career start, has thrown for 22 TDs.

Attractions: The game's best matchup pits the Packers' durable offensive line against the Panthers' relentless defensive line. Favre was sacked just 19 times last season. The Panthers' four-man line recorded 32 1/2 sacks a year ago, second most in the league behind Miami's 38 1/2 .

NEXT WEEK

Colts (0-1) at Titans (1-0): The Colts can ill afford an 0-2 start, so this will be a big AFC South game. The Titans had the same record as the Colts a year ago, but lost the division because they were swept by Indianapolis.

Jets (1-0) at Chargers (1-0): This one could be a shootout because neither defense is formidable.
