Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Shooting: An identified man was reported in critical condition after being shot multiple times in the chest about 10:30 last night in the 2300 block of E. North Ave. The victim, who appeared to be in his 40s, was rushed to Johns Hopkins Hospital. Police were looking for two male suspects.

Stabbing: A male juvenile was stabbed in the stomach by a man in the 1200 block of N. Montford Ave. about 3 a.m. yesterday. The victim was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital; his condition was not available.

Northern District

Robbery: A masked man entered the Royal Farms store in the 200 block of W. Cold Spring Lane about 5:40 a.m. Saturday and stole several boxes of cigarettes.

Western District

Stabbing: A 35-year-old man was stabbed in the left shoulder and left forearm at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of N. Monroe St.

Stolen vehicle: A 1992 Ford F-250 white-over-black pickup truck with tags 67K593 was reported stolen Friday morning from the 1200 block of W. Saratoga St.

Shooting: A man was playing basketball in the 1300 block of N. Mount St. shortly before 10:30 p.m. Saturday when he was shot in his left thigh. He was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Southern District

Burglary: Someone broke into a shed in the 3600 block of Fifth St. in Brooklyn between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday and stole a blue-and-white Yamaha dirt bike and a green electric weed trimmer.

Robbery: Someone broke into a house in the 200 block of S. Vincent St. between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday and stole a rifle and a videocassette recorder.

Central District

Stolen vehicle: A white Ford Taurus station wagon was stolen from the 1800 block of St. Paul St. between 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Armed robbery: A man with a blue plastic shopping bag over his hand claimed that he was holding a gun under it and robbed Rent-A-Center in the 1000 block of Taylor Ave. of $387 about 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Attempted robbery: A man was walking along Florida Road near Chesapeake Avenue about 10:30 p.m. Thursday when a car approached him and the driver demanded money. The victim ran; the car was found later on Burke Avenue at York Road.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Someone broke into a facility owned by CSX railroad in the 1900 block of Halethorpe Farms Road on Friday afternoon, and stole a computer printer and a fan.
