Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Assault: A construction worker on a job in the 600 block of W. Fayette St. sprayed a fellow worker with a chemical irritant about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday after being accused of taking the victim's work bag. The victim was treated at a hospital and released. No arrest had been made as the incident remained under investigation.

Southeastern District

Burglary: Someone broke into a home in the 700 block of S. Decker Ave. through a kitchen window about 9 a.m. Wednesday and took a $1,900 Compaq Presario laptop computer.

Northern District

Robbery: A man walking in the 4300 block of Buchanan Ave. was robbed of his backpack, wallet and credit cards by three men about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Western District

Burglary: Someone pried open the front door of Bacchus Bar & Liquors in the 1200 block of W. North Ave. between 2 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday and stole $1,500 in cash and 30 cases of Newport cigarettes.

Larceny from auto: A television and a videocassette recorder were stolen Wednesday morning from a 1999 Nissan Quest van in the 1200 block of N. Stricker St.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A video camera in a Citgo gasoline station in the 10100 block of Harford Road recorded images of several people breaking in and taking an automated-teller machine, lottery scratch-off tickets and a rack of tobacco products about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A thief forced open the front door of a house in the 6600 block of Collinsdale Road sometime Tuesday and stole a radio, 20 videotapes and a bag of frozen fish.
