CAROLINE KINGSBURY RAINBOLTCAMPBELL of West Columbia passed away at her residence surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at the age of 63. Caroline was born in Pennsylvania on July 22, 1941 to Duane Weills and Caroline Roller Robinson Rainbolt. She married Dr. Donald N. Campbell on October 18, 1976 and the couple resided in West Columbia since 1989. Caroline was very involved in her church, St. Mary's Episcopal Church in West Columbia. She was head of the Altar Guild, she spearheaded the needlepoint cushions that are throughout the church and she was in charge of welcoming new visitors. The contribution she was proudest of to St. Mary's was a needlepoint church banner. She was truly a loving, caring matriarch at St. Mary's. Caroline was also a volunteer for V.N.A. Hospice and visited throughout Angleton and West Columbia. Her parents and sister Rebecca Rainbolt Porreca preceded her in death. Surviving are her husband; 4 sons William David Campbell of Darlington, MD, William Andrew Campbell of Bel Air, MD, James Stewart Campbell of New Martinsville, WV, Don Aiken Campbell of Lynchburg, VA; 2 daughters Caroline Rebecca Campbell Fisher of Abingdon, MD and Donna Sue Campbell Nickell of Lewisburg, WV; nephew James Nicholas Porreca of Phoenix, AZ; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Caroline will be laid to rest on Saturday, September 11, 2004, 1 p.m., at Dulaney Valley Memorial Garden in Timonium, MD. In lieu of usual remembrances, the family requests contributions to St. Mary's Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 786, West Columbia, TX 77486-0786. Arrangements by Palms Funeral Home, 2300 E.
