Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
Baltimore City
Central District
Theft from vehicle: A portable CD player and several compact discs were stolen about 1 p.m. Monday from a car parked on Pennsylvania Avenue near St. Mary's Street. The loss was estimated at $660.
Southeastern District
Stolen vehicle: A silver 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe with Maryland tags 066M443 was stolen from the 2300 block of Fayette St. about 8 p.m. Sunday.
Burglary: Five DVDs valued at about $100 were stolen from a home in the 3400 block of E. Lombard St. between 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday. There was no sign of forced entry.
Burglary: A mountain bike was stolen Monday night from a home on Curley Street by a thief who broke in through the rear kitchen window. The bike was valued at $1,400.
Attempted robbery: About 1 p.m. Friday, a man wearing a T-shirt with red sleeves and a baseball cap turned backward tried to pry open the first-floor window of a house in the 2900 block of Hudson St. The owner, who was home, investigated the noise, and the man fled.
Northwestern District
Armed robbery: A Dunkin' Donuts in the 7000 block of Reisterstown Road was robbed of $40 at knifepoint about 1 a.m. Monday by two men.
Baltimore County
Franklin Precinct
Arson: A 2000 Mercedes F500 parked in the 200 block of Persimmon Circle was set ablaze about 1:45 a.m. Monday. A racial slur written in white chalk was found on the car's trunk.
Burglary: Someone broke into the Woodmoor Lounge in the 7200 block of Liberty Road about 11 p.m. Sunday, cut the alarm system, damaged the storeroom and took a case of Coors Light beer. Police found a box of human feces left behind in the lounge.
Towson Precinct
Assault: A man was attacked and stabbed by a group of men about 1:45 a.m. Sunday inside the Skateland roller rink in the 8800 block of Orchard Tree Lane. The victim refused to talk to police about the attackers, telling officers that he would "handle it" himself.
Wilkens Precinct
Burglary: A necklace and food were stolen from a home in the 4600 block of Leeds Ave. sometime between Aug. 16 and 11 p.m. Sunday.
