Admiral Envelope being acquired by Gumpert Printing

Frank Gumpert Printing of Annapolis has acquired Admiral Envelope and Printing Co. Inc.

In business for 49 and 35 years respectively, the family-owned businesses have grown steadily over the years in the Baltimore-Washington region. Gumpert has specialized in sheet feed production and Admiral in envelopes and packaging products.

Admiral will move its personnel and equipment from its Glen Burnie location to Frank Gumpert's 16,000-square-foot facility at 1789 McGuckian St. in Annapolis. Admiral Envelope President Gary Zorn will join Gumpert as vice president of sales and marketing.

Joseph F. Devlin joins Annapolis law firm

Joseph F. Devlin, has joined the law firm Council, Baradel, Kosmerl and Nolan, P.A., with headquarters in Annapolis. Devlin will expand the firm's expertise in complex civil litigation, business and real estate law, with an emphasis on zoning and land-use issues.

An Annapolis resident for more than 35 years, Devlin has been in private practice since 1986. He graduated with honors from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1984 and earned a bachelor's degree from Johns Hopkins in 1978.

Founded in 1982, Council, Baradel has clients including businesses, individuals, associations and governments. With the addition of Devlin, the firm has 19 lawyers and a support staff of 16.

Tastefully Simple hires Wesley as consultant

Kimberly Wesley of Hanover has become a consultant for Tastefully Simple Inc.

As a consultant and independent business owner, Wesley will conduct in-home presentations and market Tastefully Simple's line of gourmet foods and gifts at home taste-testing parties. Information: 410-694-0448.
