Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Shooting: A 17-year-old was in serious condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital after being wounded by shotgun blasts in the 2900 block of Edison Highway about 11:25 p.m. Tuesday. The youth fell to the ground when a gunman shot him in the back and was trying to stand up when he was also shot in the face. Police had no motive for the attack.

Eastern District

Robbery try/shooting: Two men were walking in the 1800 block of Barclay St. about 3 a.m. yesterday when four men, one with a handgun, demanded money. For no apparent reason, the gunman shot one of the victims in the lower back. The victim, 46, was treated at Hopkins.

Northwestern District

Robbery: Police were seeking two men who robbed a man, 50, of $36 in the 5700 block of Park Heights Ave. about 9:15 p.m. Sunday, then pistol-whipped him to the ground. He was treated at Sinai Hospital for head injuries.

Northern District

Shooting: A 19-year-old man was drinking rum while sitting on a curb in the 1100 block of Sherwood Ave. about 10:20 p.m. Tuesday when three males, one with a handgun, demanded his money. When the victim tried to flee, the gunman shot him in the left arm. After falling to the ground, he was robbed him of $5, a set of keys, a baseball cap and his jersey. He was treated at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Southeastern District

Stabbing: While a 32-year-old man was being treated Tuesday at Johns Hopkins Hospital for stab wounds from an attack in the 1600 block of E. Pratt St., police found three bags of marijuana and a small quantity of heroin in his pockets. Drug charges were pending.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, forced their way into an apartment in the 1600 block of Gail Road about 6 a.m. Tuesday and robbed four occupants of more than $200.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Cigarettes valued at $703 were stolen Tuesday from Butler Store & Liquors in the 14900 block of Falls Road.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: A TV/VCR, phone, printer and computer were stolen Tuesday from an office at Christ Our King Church in the 1900 block of Brookdale Road.

Wilkens Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed Ridgeway Liquors in the 600 block of Edmondson Ave.
